Le Toiny

Our wedding day will take place at Le Toiny, located on the quiet, wild coast of the island. Guests are welcome to stay at Le Toiny, at another nearby hotel, or in a private villa.

Le Toiny is a boutique property, so a limited number of rooms have been held at the hotel for our wedding weekend. Please note that the preferred room rates will not change and are fixed but available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Le Tropical Hotel

For guests seeking an alternative to Le Toiny, we have arranged a limited number of rooms at Le Tropical St Barth at a special wedding rate. This boutique property is located just steps from the legendary Saint-Jean Beach and overlooking its turquoise bay. Please note that availability is limited and rooms will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

* There is a 2-night minimum stay

St. Barths is renowned for its beautiful private villas, which can be a wonderful option for couples, families, or groups traveling together. While we encourage most guests to stay at one of our recommended hotels for the easiest wedding-weekend experience, there are many exceptional villa rentals throughout the island.

We recommend booking through a reputable villa agency and carefully confirming the property’s location before reserving. Some villas are wonderfully private and secluded, but may require a longer drive to Gustavia, Le Toiny, and other wedding events.

For the most convenient experience, we strongly suggest choosing a villa near one of our recommended hotels, particularly in Saint-Jean, Grand Cul-de-Sac, or Gustavia. Please keep in mind that St. Barth is very hilly, with narrow and winding roads, so advance transportation planning and a rental car may be necessary.

Flights to St. Maarten (SXM)

For most guests, the easiest way to reach St. Barths will be to first fly into Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) in St. Maarten and then continue to the island by air or sea.

For reference, we’ve included a snapshot of round-trip fares for our May 6–9, 2027 wedding weekend. Airfare is subject to change, so we recommend checking current schedules and pricing before booking. Nonstop routes generally operate on a consistent daily schedule, while one-stop itineraries may vary based on connection times.

Transfer By Air (15 Minutes)

Once you arrive in St. Maarten, you can make the final journey to St. Barths by air or by sea. Winair and St Barth Commuter operate frequent regional flights between St. Maarten (SXM) and St. Barths (SBH), with a flight time of approximately 15 minutes.

This is typically the quickest and most convenient way to reach the island. Round-trip fares are generally around €240–€400 per person, depending on the airline, flight time, and availability. Please note that this regional flight will need to be booked separately from your flight to St. Maarten.

When connecting at SXM, we recommend allowing at least 1 hour 15 minutes between the arrival of your international flight and the departure of your flight to St. Barths. On your return journey, allow at least 2 hours between arriving back at SXM and your international departure.

Because aircraft can only arrive into St. Barths during daylight hours, we strongly recommend avoiding late-afternoon arrivals into St. Maarten whenever possible.

Transfer By Sea (About 1 Hour)

Don't like small airplanes? Ferry service is also available between St. Maarten/St. Martin and St. Barths, with two primary options.

Great Bay Express
Departs from Bobby’s Marina in Philipsburg on the Dutch side of St. Maarten and arrives directly in Gustavia. Round-trip fares are approximately $120 per person. Great Bay recommends arriving at the ferry terminal 45–60 minutes before departure.

Voyager (Voy12)
Departs from Marigot on the French side of St. Martin and arrives directly in Gustavia. The crossing takes approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on conditions and schedule.

Please note: Sea conditions can vary, and the crossing can be choppy. We do not recommend the ferry for guests who are particularly prone to motion sickness.

Via San Juan (SJU)

For guests who would prefer to bypass St. Maarten altogether, another option is to fly into San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) and continue directly to St. Barths with Tradewind Aviation.

Tradewind operates scheduled service between San Juan and St. Barths aboard Pilatus aircraft, with a flight time of approximately one hour. This is typically a more premium option, but offers a comfortable and seamless alternative to connecting through St. Maarten.

Please note that your flight to San Juan (SJU) and your Tradewind flight to St. Barths (SBH) will need to be booked separately. Tradewind fares vary based on flight time and availability, so we recommend checking current pricing directly when booking.
